Remediation Nom-site almost completed
1 november 2006 The remediation of the former Nom-site (15 ha) at the Butaanweg in Rotterdam-Botlek, which was commissioned by Vopak and began in March 2005, has almost been completed. This involves an on site biological remediation of about 50,000 m3 of soil after excavation. All soil has been remediated up to the target remediation value and has been replaced. The last three partial remediation operations were also assigned to BioSoil and work started shortly after the summer in 2006. They will be completed around the beginning of 2007.
