Staff and organization
The backbone of BioSoil R&D is a small but solid group of four employees with higher vocational and university degrees. The variety of expertise and the ample experience these researchers have cover many areas of interest. This includes a broad knowledge of the behaviour of compounds in the environment and their degradability, considerable experience with separation techniques and the set-up of treatment installations for soil and groundwater and, in particular, with the development of concepts for (in situ) soil remediation. Other employees of the BioSoil-group also collaborate in conducting the research. This is especially valid for field research and for conducting pilots. By offering graduation facilities, which are used a lot, young people have the opportunity to conduct research in an environment that offers a balance between theory and practice. Obviously, this works both ways. BioSoil R&D also learns from these arrangements.
