On site remediation of excavated soil
When in situ remediation is impossible or is not an obvious solution, excavation of the contaminated soil is another option. When possible, cost-savings can be achieved by treating the excavated soil on site. To do this, on site biological remediation has been maximally optimized and separation equipment has also been developed based on pulsated water beds. Development of these techniques continues. Where on site biological remediation is involved, options for achieving this under extreme climatic conditions are also being sought.
