BioSoil Services starts new pilot project in Brandenburg
In November 2009 BioSoil Services GmbH started a new pilot remediation project in the town of Brandenburg a/d Havel. The site is a former gas generator plant, and contaminated with Mineral Oil, BTEX, Alkylphenoles and PAHs. BioSoil will implement a pilot in-situ biological remediation. The biological degradation process is an aerobic process, BioSoil uses a system of extraction / infiltration to inject the nutrients for the degradation, and oxygen is added to the soil using the by BioSoil patented airsparging system.
