BioSoil Soil Treatment Installation Dutch acronym BBI

BioSoil developed the BBI especially for the treatment of large amounts of seriously contaminated soil. Depending on the exact composition, this installation is capable of dividing the soil on site into a contaminated faction (about 10% of the original volume) and a non-contaminated faction (about 90% of the original volume). This allows for considerable cost savings because:

  • Hardly any transport is required to remove the contaminated soil
  • The amount of suppletion sand that has to be bought and transported to the site is considerably reduced
  • Virtually no costs for external remediation or dumping are required any longer
